Completely agree but curiously they are still in business so there must be a customer base out there still paying these huge prices.

Coltrane was having hard times during long periods of his life. Once Miles Davis purchased a tenor sax for him as a present. Marten speakers would have been definitely out of his reach. Most professional musicians are no HIFI follower at all, btw.
