Rum is always nice in yellow cake for a bit of character. I love how you put strawberries into the cupcakes and not just frosting on the top so you have flavour in every bite. So many cupcakes are just a dry canvas for a pretty-looking heap of frosting.

Love this! One thing that would help would be a link to a video of you talking about how to make cake flour at home. Standard cake flour is manufactured in factories that share the equipment with food allergens like dairy. When people have severe food allergies, they have to avoid those foods. I remember Julia Child once had a recipe for All Purpose Flour and, I think it was rice flour, but I don't remember the details anymore. Anyway, having a link to you discussing how to make a good, low allergen (non-allergen, except for the gluten) cake flour would be fantastic! Also, if there's some way around the gluten too, that would be even better!

It's so much more precise to measure in g/kg and ml/l - baking is all about precision, not "a cup plus 2 tablespoons" #archaic
@jellylife88333 жыл бұрын
Martha seems to have no trouble measuring ingredients the way she does.
@eduardo_corrochio3 жыл бұрын
We never took to the Metric System here in the USA. Hence the lack of grams and liters, etc. I'm sure the recipes here are fine without kg and such. "Archaic"? Hilarious.
