The second Kenshi first appeared in an MK1 trailer, I was like "That's Noah." Later I read he also did a lot of the mocap and reference material. I should have known that they gave him creative control when I saw Smoke with a karambit.

Smoke with the Panther's Claw/Tiger's Claw Knife. And the reason why the karambit is called the Panther's Claw Knife or sometimes the Tiger's Claw Knife is because the blade is shaped like a Panther's Claw/Tiger's Claw.

That creative freedom he had with Smoke really payed off. He's my main (because I missed him since he was last playable in mk9) and it feels like there are almost no useless moves in his set.

For me I first noticed as obviously Kenshi is based on Noah's look but it was actually Smoke axe kick ender they showed here is when I noticed he was doing Mocap, the way Noah moves his upper body is fairly unique to how it's usually thrown

Its really fitting with how Noah used alot of checks with Smokes karambit. The fluidity of his motions resembled actual smoke, being shapeless. That's pretty badass

Best technique he pulled off was that he worked so close to MK1 for more than 3 years ago and he didn't tell anybody. He did the Mocap for all the ninjas, he might wanna start the playlist in this channel on breaking down how he did all the new experiments with his take on all the characters.

The Dancing Dragon actually looks pretty close to Kung Lao's Whirlwind Kicks special from Deadly Alliance (also an evolution of the bicycle kick because Liu Kang was dead at the time.)
