I'm so happy I stumbled across these two videos. I went there for 2 years in the early 2000s and occasionally around 2010. As a fatherless kid, the place gave me direction and discipline, David talked about that quite often.

Wow! Thanks for the memories Antonio; I remember all the faces in the pic at 11:15 (but not the names). My two sisters and I went to Fire and Water in '83 and '84. I was not particularly talented and didn't aquire significant rank, but I joined the Army and found that all challengers backed down with a mere glance, never had to actually fight. I was just used to fighting and I think they could sense that somehow. You probably don't remember this but you invited me over to your house a couple of times. One time we sparred and watched an episode of Kung Fu, the other was a party where you hired a teenage rock band. I recently retired and moved back to Bristol. Oh, and my name is Matt Birmingham, "danlboone" is just an online handle. Stay safe over there, ya here?

Mat, I do remember you. And sparring and watching Kung Fu. That sounds about right. Those were my favorite days, Saturdays, sparring outside all day and then coming in to watch Kung Fu. Your family had me over your house a number of times. I remember I was friends with your two sisters as well. You live in Bristol now? Amazing! I visit there almost every time I am in the U.S. I will be back in Summer. I hope we can meet. And I would love to know how your sisters are doing. And I hope your parents and brother are well.

@@brooklynmonk1 Looking forward to seeing you again. I'll tell Beth and Lynne we spoke. My parents and brother are gone now, but all are saved and waiting for us in Glory.
