martial eagle & monitor lizard

A Martial Eagle, Africa's biggest eagle, flies carrying a monitor lizard it caught for it's next meal. I was in Kenya's Tsavo West National Park, primarily to film hippos, when I happened on the surprise action. Africa is full of these brief special moments with wildlife I've been fortunate to experience over the years so I've decided to share some of the images that never made it into my stories.
