This is the same game that's too lazy to implement unique fighter animations. Still, so many nitty gritty details that could EASILY be fixed if they spent virtually any time on the game. I pray that ONE FC or even the rising PFL contracts with another studio to make a superior MMA game. Because its just downright sad that a billion-dollar game company can't even remotely replicate a game created a decade prior by a bankrupt studio.

The main problem with the ages is that they start their careers in 2023, and when you get into the ufc rating where there are named fighters, it's 2026 in the virtual world. They should start counting from 2018

This game is a joke, and I'm sorry to say. But anybody who's buying this trash is only fueling the dumpster fire that is EA. UFC 3 to UFC 4 atleast showed serious changes in mechanics, gui, etc.

@@improbablyyourdad8458 I've also played a couple other franchises from EA, such as Madden and FIFA. And it's fair to say that this is their business model. They truly don't give a shit. It's a classic "too big to fail" scenario, and the consumers are eating it up. I really wish people would stop defending EA and buying the games so they can try to put in an ounce of effort, but I doubt that is ever going to happen. The only real way out is if an opposing organization like PFL or ONE contracts with a different studio to develop a worthwhile MMA game. Because as it stands, I've lost all hope in EA.

E A was lazy with Fifa until the rise of Pro Evolution. When that became serious competition, then EA stepped up their efforts, and Fifa became good again. However, when Pro Evolution stopped becoming serious competition EA became lazy again when it came to Fifa. PFL needs a major developer to start making MMA games. EA needs competition, that's when they bring out their best sports games.

Only thing bad about sim training is it doesn’t upgrade the attack that has the bonus, and training to upgrade like the jab and get those extra points for upgrading things is needed and when you sim you’ll only have chances to upgrade attacks in fights and makes your characters leveling up slower in my opinion, it’s tedious and the training partners are annoying but kinda worth it.

There is no reason that they still didn’t fix that when you’re champ you always fight the opponent wearing black shorts. Should be able to put any short colour on any fighter we can’t even choose a colour for CAF unless it’s “custom”. Should have different colour shorts available like Izzy Blue champ shorts, or Volk Green champ shorts. These are such simple fixes although I’m sure we won’t get them.

If you didn't know, when learning a new move..you can work on all moves, that you have already required...that's why the time limit is so low level long...you can gain added starts to every move set long story Short you can gain evolution point during the" learning new move" training

I think he goes through the grapple blocks because you are more used to using fighters with higher grappling skill when you play online. In this case I don't know how high your grappling skills are but I'm sure Khabib's are the highest in the game and that sways grappling exchanges even when you block quicky.

People are really shitting on the lack of updates from ufc4, but for me the striking looks nearly fantastic, animations take the ideas from ufc4 and make them so refined, grappling and submissions look actually fun and calculated. Might be ufc 4.5, but for people who actually like ufc4, this is a very welcome new game.

Now the fights are getting harder. I think that the AI difficulty may also be adaptive and it gets harder the more successful you are and it might be learning how to counter you. Your longevity is taking a hit in these matches and you have not even had the chance to switch weight classes yet. This is going to be interesting. I know you do not like it but you might want to do sparring, training exercises, and the bag just for the chance for your moves to evolve. If it is anything like the last game then the better you are at it the less stamina it consumes to use it. Also, look to see if there are any new perks that you might want that help with submissions.

The training games are correct though. You have to learn the range, you have to learn how to work to the clinch, jab into range, overhand to ankle pick....... you can't learn techniques in isolation you have to learn utilisation too. EA have the training spot on IMHO
