In the year 3021, on a space station somewhere between Mars and Jupiter in the Milky Way, 8-year-old Ella Ryder sets out with her friends on exciting adventures of discovery. And because they are in space, there is lots to experience and even more to explore! While Ella’s adventures are spine tingly fun, they are also always emotionally charged allowing her to discover a little bit more about herself with each unexpected challenge - challenges that help her understand what makes her as unique as her name: Interstellar Ella!
⭐ Ella is an 8-year-old girl, who moved with her family from Earth to space when she was three years old.
⭐ Tilly is Ella’s younger sister - a fearless four-year-old who can be as challenging to Ella as any exotic space phenomenon. She can hold her own with the big kids, but she can be equally happy playing alone as she has a boundless imagination.
⭐ Ella's Mom is an astrophysicist who’s always got a new experiment on the dining room table. She is super smart, a leader in her field (solar energy) and always eager to experiment.
⭐ Ella’s Dad is the most innovative and resourceful guy in space, an intergalactic free thinker. Very sociable, he loves tinkering, testing, salvaging, recycling and building. By day, Dad operates a space-towing and repair service.
⭐ Slippy is Ella’s polar opposite. He is a tinkerer and a planner. She’s a dreamer, he’s pragmatic.
⭐ Madhu is an alien creature from a far-off Nebula. Sweet, sensitive, innocent, intuitively empathetic and strong, Madhu is an alien who is unique in every way - neither male nor female, neither child nor adult, neither animal nor mineral.
⭐ Maggie is Ella's digital assistant. Maggie is a holographic A.I. information source, who doesn't quite understand the vagaries of the human psyche.
⭐ Glitch is Slippy's own personal robot, built out of interstellar found objects. This nifty robot can produce a seemingly endless supply of tools and building supplies from within his tummy compartment.
