They ended it with a jp exclusive dreamcast game instead but we got a better ending in SRW V and an even better one in T where Van from GunxSword tells him hes lucky his bride and him are still alive unlike him and the woman he loved and that his black cloak of vengence is his tux so go over there and greet your bride kid you earned it.

I figured out why the animation in this opening fascinates me. There's really not much of it. Animation that is. There's a hell of a lot of still images sliding past each other, or the "camera" panning over a still image, or still images with effects. Basically this opening is at least 50% still images. But it still looks really good because those still images are drawn so incredibly, and the "camera" rarely staying still means you probably won't notice unless you're actively looking for it. In a lot of modern anime I feel as though they'd just do some easier, less impressive animation or make excessive use of CG instead of trying to trick the audience into thinking there's more animation than there actually is, and successfully pulling it off because of good overall direction. But I'm not particularly educated on the inner workings of the anime industry, so this is just conjecture.
@justinjacobs15016 жыл бұрын
I might add that since the opening is 50% still or panning shots, once you get to the mechs in action the movement seems amplified compared to if the whole opening had that level of motion.Not sure if it was intentional, but it's a clever trick to make the action pop.

@@justinjacobs1501 You said it first!! Which was going to be my response: they saved all of the movement for the second half of the opening. It helps speed and intensify everything once the song picks up, then we start to see more action and explosions.

Also all the jovians call getter robo a gekigenger wantabe Like here's a link to the final nadesico chapter in T kzbin.info/www/bejne/qZeXlpd_ed18oZo

@Noodle1423 Really? I still remember this song by heart and I think you mean "they took half the bass background away" if you watch the non-HD version. Listening from my stereo widened speakers, there are no distortions so it's perfect audio quality.. They just took some instruments out or just lowered that.
