Just wondering if it was short or long scale on the neck?

I've tried this guitar at two different shops and both had high action which put me off owning one, however they both sounded great and with the obvious Martin quality.

The high action is something you can fix ofcourse... Some people like that especially on a more "old skool" guitar like this one. And you cant shave any material onto the saddle... But you can take a couple of mm off without any problems usually.

Most Martins are high from the factory. A good setup will fix it. At least it did for my 000-17

I've just bought this guitar in the black smoke finish and I can tell you that none of the KZbin videos capture the real quality of this guitar. I'm not being disrespectful it's just that this Martin guitar has a beautiful tone and the projection is amazing, you will only feel and hear this when you get one on your knee. Amazing instrument.

Sigma 00MSE is a cheap semi-solid 00 that is really nice...This video made ma want a 00, but for my budget.

Wow! Definitely sounds more like a Martin, but it also sort of sounds like if a Martin and Gibson had a baby and it took more after its Martin parent.

Or maybe a Martin and a Stella

when I read about this guitar it said"solid spruce top with mahogany back & sides. From my experience if its solid wood they put the word "solid" in front of mahogany back & sides. So is it all solid wood?? many thx

Just curious, why wouldn't you want to strum this guitar very hard? Like you said.
@eduardwalhout17407 жыл бұрын
It will probably start to sound a bit muddy because of the smaller dimensions. The sound travels at the same speed ofcourse as in a larger guitar but because of the smaller dimensions it bounces around more and interferes more with itself. Yes this is a 100% guesswork but thats what it sounds like to me.
@SunnyKlein-vr7eh4 жыл бұрын
Because people are afraid of scratching it 😂lol it sounds amazing strummed loud. That’s why I bought it
@Harp_and_Guitar_Moving_Forward Жыл бұрын
It would sound small and tinny compared to my j50 for example

too twangy almost like a Taylor which I dislike for that very reason.
