…So what was it that was being “held back” for so very long in hesitation❔

Been loving your content Millerman and I hope the courses are a success. It's a shame how hard it is to find good lectures on youtube or the internet. It's been almost year since I saw your live stream discussion of this book and your enthusiasm was infectious. I bought Contributions immediately after that video but have not made it past the first few chapters. I remember thinking that if Heidegger is right about the event I should not need him to tell me - I should be able to make the leap myself. Of course, that may very well be an excuse and your videos are a reminder of the lucidity and life found by engaging with the great thinkers.

My pleasure. It covers preliminaries - doesn't jump into the substance of the book just yet - but the preliminaries are an important first step, and I will post more for free here just as soon as I record it. Enjoy!

wow! I've enjoyed the presentation very much, especially the cool and balanced approach to the sensitive political issue. Will there be a session 1.2?

Jews aren't mentioned in the Contributions, and I think for our purposes we can say that what he hated the most is thoughtlessness.

@@millerman The Blacknotes and him being in the NSDAP does show this though. I mean it has nothing generally to do with his contributions in itself, true.
