the first time i heard them sing this song was during their Magic and Music Concert (If I'm not mistaken with the title). It was during that time i realized that Lea Salonga could have recorded the song with Martin. I really thought that Lea couldn't fill Regine's part because we all know how high Regine's pitch is but Lea did justice to the song. Martin-Regine's original version was great and Martin-Lea's is just at par.

Killua Zoldyck ... Tama, Lea did not hit the note that Regine did sa part nya. Not saying na di maganda ang pagka-kanta ni Lea. It was very, very good. But to say na kaya ni Lea tapatan ang high notes that Regine did in this song, hindi talaga. But Lea has her own strengths. The clarity of her voice and her phrasing are superb. Better than Regine. But Regine can do better vocal runs than Lea. Again, may kanya-kanya silang strengths. Ako, I am just happy as a Regine fan to hear Lea sing Regine songs. It’s such an honor.
