I just had new found love for this family. The Philippine audience watch concerts and buy albums of Pinoy artists, even of those who cannot even sing or are vocally not very good, only because their TV networks give them a boost. There are very few real musicians who can sing and write their own songs and are able to bring audience in, like Gloc 9 and Julie Anne San Jose. Even Julie Anne is still underrated and under appreciated (haven't been able to fill up Araneta.) Look at the artists in ASAP who sing. I don't get their popularity. Yes, they can sing and copy singing as good as the original singers but that don't make them real musicians, yet the audience clamor for them. It's something I don't get with the Philippine audience. I'm glad Robin is in the US doing his thing. I've always been a fan. And I pray that he'll succeed coz he definitely has the talent.

regizar It goes the same with movies. Quality movies dont make it to top 10 . Slapstick comedies and so- so flicks become blockbuster movies for the reasons you already have mentioned. SMH. 😏
