This is such a great guitar. I got this a few days ago. Thanks for your great playing and review.

Fantastic and informative video. Thank you so much. The comments about how the abalone makes a difference in the sound. The differences in the neck--things I haven't heard in any other review. Thank you so much!

in my opinion the abalone impacts the sound quite nicely ! Greetings from Germany

It does!

I definitely agree, glad to hear it's not my imagination. The 42 series and 45 series guitars definitely have more high harmonics and 'shimmer' to the sound in my opinion.

Beautiful sounding! If I own this, I'd probably not play it at all fearful of getting it scratched or dented. Personally prefer my hd28

After you own it Like a car you get use to it .. like a luxury watch .. scratches tells a story

Do you like this or an om42 from collings? How would you compare. Thanks and great playing and videos

hey jarvis what do you think of strumming Martin OM models? if you want to do powerful strumming, should you better take a Dreadnoght or do OM models also work for this? Maybe you can break the guitar if you strum OMs too hard?

Both Low Profile and Modified Low Oval are quite similar in specs - but which do you prefer?

It’s a want bro .. but this is one guitar I highly recommend each martin follower believer to get .. besides the D42 ..,the trebles and bass just are a step up against the 28 models .. it’s doesn’t just looks good it does sounds outstanding and when it ages .. it’s a monster

What a beautiful guitar. Thanks for uploading, love your content. Suggestions for a guitar that's around 1500USD? I'm considering the FGX5 but don't really like the aesthetics but love the tone.

That’s hard .. get a LL16 deluxe instead

How does it compare in your opinion to the Martin OM 28 Modern Deluxe
@TheGuitarSpaSingapore3 жыл бұрын
This sound way much open than the OM28 MD .. and this the trebles are more bell like and deeper bass too ..

Thanks for asking this. This is something I’ve been wondering as I look at possible purchase options. And @TheGuitarSpaSingapore thank you for the answer! I cannot find any reviews of those two against each other. Maybe that’d be fun, but you’ve reviewed both and you know I’ve listened to both back to back :) Thanks for the positive spirit you share.
Probably I can do one .. 000-42 Marquis against the Om42 .. but the Marquis is adirondack so the tone will be a mark difference
@rezniv3 жыл бұрын
@@TheGuitarSpaSingapore I've heard that adirondack makes the tone drier, and more towards clarity and treble while Sitka is warmer and fuller. Is that your experience as well? Thanks!
@TheGuitarSpaSingapore3 жыл бұрын
@@rezniv depends on the maker and brand...i would say its fatter thicker notes ...
