The marshalls were not up to the task. Amateur action like in 50's in the F1 and if Kenneth were not fast enough, he could've burned to death. Great video thanks very much.

That fire came pretty sudden. Wouldn't surprise me if he tried to get the race red flagged by triggering it himself so his teammate had a chance of getting more points than the others in a restart. Hansen and Citroën was always up to something bad back then.

@@rallycrossvhsdvd yea were a pretty clever concept till u realise the suspension brakes and steering all ran off the same system, so when inevitbly one of the millions of pipes and hoses went ud loose the fucking lot!! tbh i can imagine the bx doing rallycross a bit more as there was a bx that citroen attemted to use in group b before it got canned but a zantia to me is just a taxi from 20 yrs ago! : )
