Martin, please tell me everything is gonna be alright. One of your biggest fans. Seen you live at least 10 times. I just pray that God is working miracles. Can't make it out due to health reasons. Been hospitalized several times this year. I am just a father of two and a peaceful person. Love you brother. Thank you for your music. Hope to see you live again once I get well.

Thank you Martin! This is exactly what we need (this kind of love and expression of compassionate heart).

Right in time for independence day! Martin Sexton is one of America’s true gems. Such a colorful singer/songwriter. He never ceases to amaze me with how he takes complex ideas and presents them so simply/purely to the listener. I got to meet him one time in Baton Rouge at The Varsity theatre. It was after the show. He was just a good dude. Down to earth. I couldn’t believe one of my musical heroes was loading his own equipment lmao. He was traveling cross country by himself in his suv. He was kind enough to put up with me being a fan boy 😬Thanks for sharing another beautiful song Martin 🤘🤘

Singing your politics seems to have cost you the overwhelming majority of your audience. 7 comments, not very many views to speak of. I was once a huge fan of this guy. No longer...

Which political politics do you see in the song? All I saw was encouraging equality and unity and continuation of all that's good in the country. There was Latinos blacks and whites (i think?) In the video. Right now there are some who are trying tear America down....saying don't let em is neutral politically I think? Now if he's somehow advocating open borders to illegals that would be wrong but I didn't see that.

@@prayunceasingly2029 One side of the political spectrum in this country blames America for all of the ills in the world, including things that are ONLY available here, such as equality. Whenever you hear someone complaining about equality, they have identified themselves as a leftist. Whenever someone HAS TO point out the racial breakdown of what they see - as YOU have done here in your comment - you know they are a leftist. I didn’t mention race, but you felt you had to bring it up for some reason. Right now, leftists/socialists/communists are trying to eliminate all that is good and great about this country. They are calling Christians “extremists”, promoting sexuality among young children, pushing the gay agenda, using race and gender to divide people into ever smaller and smaller groups who are EXPECTED to hate each other and they all want you to wear a mask and take experimental drugs in the name of fighting a minor illness that isn’t prevented by masks OR the experimental drug, all while blindly excepting the complete BS that is “climate change”. Martin has expressed his support for ALL of the above in his live performance spoken word as well as lyrically. It started out being subtle, but it has gotten worse over the years. He is a leftist.
