Martin Sprocket & Gear Inc. Capabilities - Super Turning Lathe

Martin's super turning shaft lathe can machine shafting that weighs up to 20,000 pounds, roughly an 18" diameter x 19'-0" long shaft. Its live tooling allows for the keyway to be cut and general milling in the same machine operation. This machine can also machine Turbo disks of up to 42" diameter and T-Bottoms of up to 36" diameter.
