He had one of the most unpredictable character arcs in the first season and made it thrilling to watch. I liked how he got rid of his suit in mid season 3; those episodes did shed some more light on his personality. Although by the end he was just an out-of-place character with some cheesy dialogues, he did get a fair send off.
