Is it good? That's a difficult question to answer! I'm not an Angler but those I talk to say it's a tricky place to catch the right fish. There's always guys down there trying their luck. As for a day ticket I think you have to pay at Edlington library to be honest though I don't think anyone bothers. Nobody goes round checking. Sorry I couldn't help you more. The real question is : why is it called Goodwin Island? I've asked loads of folk here in the village and no one knows! Which seems really strange. It's been there years! 🤷🏼‍♂️
