Arguably the greatest tennis player of all time, regardless of gender. For three reasons her accomplishments on the court, the level of competition she played against, and her social activism to promote equality and social justice for all, beyond the LGBTQ and gender equality agenda.

She is wonderful, but she did an abortion when she was 17 and I think all her life she suffer from post abortion syndrome.

All I can say! Czech girls rule. Martina is such a perfect example how women should navigate in this world. I am from Usti Nad/Labem. Thank you, Martina.

The fact checkers are wrong to not correct the basic information on this feed... Margaret Court is the most successful female or male tennis player in history and the record books prove it....64 Grand Slam titles ... including the calendar slam. She took off a couple of years in her prime to have a child and came back and won the Grand Slam. in 1,000 matches she had a winning percentage of 92% , 100% in Federation cup (20 out of 20 ) 7 years as world number 1. I am not discounting Martina's impressive career, and I admire her, it's just more fake news.

She was one of the FEW top players who played the Australian open back then, as it was so far away and over Christmas. Again, very few top 10 players played the Australian open, s9 it was a cake walk for her, no competition.

Yes, it is true that transexuals have been able to compete in women's tennis since 1977. The Supreme Court allowed it.

She was a great athlete. She should be happy with what she accomplished in her career.

What an odd comment. Of course she's egotistical, she wouldn't have been so successful without being that way. Strange thing to say.

she is talking honestly for other athletes ... she would be egoistic if she would talk about the same thing every year..... but because probably there are handful of interviews, its good if she is little proud in the fewer the few interviews.... and she is humanitarian.
