The track is a complete re-imagining of The xx's modern classic of the same name. Here though, it is masterfully re-built from the bottom up with Warpaint's instrumentation and vocals from Martina Topley Bird and celebrated American singer-songwriter Mark Lanegan and all finished off with executive production by Jonny White & Anthony Middelton. To accompany the release, there is a fantastic video (animation by Tim Razumovsky, directed by Javier Badet) that pairs the singing-heads of Lanegan and Topley Bird with hi-budget animation and suitably overcast imagery.

Saw Chelsea Wolfe the other wk, when she sang Flatlands n i welled up. . A friend of mine played guitar on one on his albums, n i know he has a few tracks with him n Lanegan that are as yet unreleased. Just red tape bullshit with the label.... What a voice.. Legend x
