Look i'm happy we won but something needs to be done about the standard of the officials it was utterly disgusting, studs up, late, from behind with force, on an ankle is CLEARLY endangering an opponent and it should be a red card all day. Even if you want to say football is soft and say it's just a yellow then fine! whatever! BUT to go studs up and be late AGAIN less than 5 mins later and not get a second yellow is beyond a joke. The ref bottled it plain and simple and it always seems to be Man City that never get given these second yellow cards and because Arsenal won it will just be swept under the rug! but that was bottling it of the highest order from the ref absolutely shocking.

The same thing happened to Curtis Jones and Malo Gusto and both were given straight reds. There is an argument for it not being red but if Jones and Gusto got sent off for the exact same thing then why did Kovacic not get sent off.
