99% of real photography is about recognising the potential of capturing an interesting or creative image. The other 1% is about the camera used to capture it. Most "photographers don't get that but Martin is demonstrating this in the video.

Hi Martin, Congrats on your well deserved +1.000.000 views. I was amased at the quality of the holga pix ! There wasn't a single holga or zero pinhole shot i didn't like. The ICM, let's just say it's a thin line between a blurry foto and an impressionist image. I do my ICM photography on digital as i find there's a very low keeper rate and film is to expensive to waste on experiments with uncertain outcom. I tend to draw a line when the film costs more than the camera🙂.

Thank you for making this. I think an old Kodak Brownie has better build quality and three aperture size choices. The Brownies might take better looking pictures but they are somewhat difficult to point at the subject. Thanks again!

The first shot of the street lamp is magical. It has a 1930's black and white movie feel, like Hitchcock in The 39 Steps. The ICM pictures are also inspirational bur, as with all of your shots your post-scanning skills are self evident. I would be interested to see the before and after shots to get a measure of just what can be done in the Henson style.

Another great video Martin, I know exactly what you mean with different cameras, Like all the shots but not so with the ICM, for me it just does not intrest me, but thats why we all are different, it would be a boring world in photography if we was all liking the same images. Also I am just about to post on the BW forum how I have got round the same problem you have making 4x5 prints with the 4x5 camera as the enlarger. I had the same problem as you with my focus wheel being on the top and struggling to to look through my focus finder, just done a reversible mod to the foucus rack on my Intrepid, so I can focus it from below the lens.

hi Martin, been following you for a while, can’t be sure, I know you tend to film except the infra red stuff, by the way I bought 2 of your infra red prints and they are really beautiful! Anyway have you ever thought of doing something on CCTV lenses on micro 4/3 cameras. I use a couple on my em1 s cropped to square in camera and you get a look very reminiscent of the Holga and with film prices now way cheaper.

Great set of photographs, Martin so thank you. I don't usually go for the ' alternative ' look as it can quickly become tiresome iMHO, but I loved the ones you showed and I also think that they break up the monotony of straight photography if used sparingly. Take care.
