It truly is beautiful. I spent a little time in the South and the North. Now I'd like to learn French LOL

Thank you for recognising that is France with a Caribbean twist. I am having such a hassle trying to explain this to English and foreigners people in the UK where I am currently living.

it is not France per say it's an overseas french territory, not the same.

No it's not France France is in Europe!Martinique is in the Caribbean it is a French territory.

Elsie Molly is right, that's why the French lady says the tree is in France at 6:50 and that it was voted the most beautiful tree in France by the public. The political status of Overseas France is confusing but there's a video on KZbin called "French Overseas Regions and Territories Explained" that clarified it for me.
@davidm17986 жыл бұрын
@M C It's not a city of France, it's an overseas region and department of France.

1:31 it seems amazing to me that a tree would grow at such a sharp angle, so close to the sea and yet survive.

Nice Island, I visited it in Jan. Our villa was robbed the 1st night we were there. They took everything including our passports! English is not a language spoken on this island. If you don't have a translator, your going to have a hard time.
