My story is too long but basically, I had high dose radiation for Tonsil Cancer and afterwards most of my teeth snapped at the gumline. 2 years, 6 dentists here on Maui, all refused to pull my teeth because of the high likelihood of "bone death." I am so very very claustrophobic, and the radiation sessions had me in panic mode. Now ive found a dentist in Honolulu that will pull my teeth but only if I do this treatment here. They want 30 of them! I'm on Maui so that's 2 plane flights a day, 5 days a week for almost 2 months. If you click my icon here, I have a video showing my teeth. The depression has been horrific. I have to do it though.. Please say a prayer!

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) is a medical treatment where a patient breathes 100% oxygen under pressure in a pressurized chamber. The oxygen is pushed into the plasma, into the lymphatics, and into the distal tissues and it creates the body's capability of creating angiogenesis which in turn brings more blood and healing factors to an area that is hypoxic. This has miraculous effects on healing. The patient is placed in the chamber and the treatment is usually almost 2 hours and while the patient is in the chamber, he/she can watch television which is mounted on the outside of the chamber. Usually it takes about 30 treatments but sometimes patients see results sooner.

Important question: In your experience and research, is separately Ozone IV therapy and HBOT safe with most young healthy adult patients with a very small intracranial aneurysm? As their is in the scientific literature extensive laboratory and clinical evidence supporting the role of Ozone and HBOT in blood vessel protection and Endothelial Cell function: Ozone and HBOT has been shown to improve: hemodynamic stress, hazardous NOS activity, endothelial cell function, oxidative stress, is vasoprotective, anti inflammatory, lowers blood pressure and has vasodilatory properties. Would love to please hear your scientific opinion. Thank you very much for your time!

Can they hear the external TV from inside the chamber? Or are there speakers inside the chamber? How do others outside the chamber communicate with the patient, and vice-versa? Is there any kind of emergency call button to let the nurses/attendants know, in case the patient has a problem of some kind?
@sarahaligned
@sarahaligned 3 жыл бұрын
There are speakers in the chamber that allow you to hear the TV. There is a phone on the outside of the chamber so you can communicate with staff. As for emergency button, usually banging on the glass works great. Once you are at depth it takes about 10 minutes to come back up to stable pressure, so they can't remove you instantly.
