Not all battery runs out, also phones keep more charge on 1% for emergency situations, if u press some button patterns it goes longer, tip from me

yes, typically all smart gadgets' batteries have about 105-106% of capacity, you can see it if you scan your battery by a special device. So when your phone shows you 0% it actually has a few percents like Kasym Hojagulyev described.
