God is still using their music. It has got me through some pretty dark times.

Great interview. I can't believe that was 9 years ago and I'm just watching it now (2022). Delirious was at the top of my play list in 1997/1998 and for years after that.

Excellent interview - some of Tim's questions were so direct I thought he was Martin Bashir! But also Martin's responses were so refreshingly honest... roll on part 2...

Hey Martin - good to hear you're still out and about doing what you are called to do. I enjoyed the interview. You look...good. More mature! heh! My son and I met you a number of years ago when you played in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and Chris Tomlin, who was simply an up and coming worship leader, opened for Delirious at that concert! Being a pastor enabled me to get into a backstage pow-wow with the band. Thanks for serving God - your music has been a blessing through the years.

Hey Martin you might have signed his picture but I remember buying a poster at a gig in Bristol and waiting for you to leave the venue to sign it. I waited and everyone had pretty much left. Here you come I think great here's my chance rolled out the poster and you couldn't be areas to stop and sign you walked right past me after seeing it and buggered off in your car. I was 16. 12 years ago and I still remember. I was fanatical about Delirious and I felt destroyed. All the other band members always made time to say high at future gigs but you were always very ignorant. All the best.

Hey Jona...are you confusing music style with actual worship? Worship style is always a matter of personal taste, but what is "proper worship"? I believe it's when God's people worship God in Spirit and in Truth - and how God's children connect with their creator. That doesn't even require music of any kind, if you think about it, but rather a humble open heart, through prayer and God's Word. :-) Just sayin'
