You said everything that’s on my mind . Amelia has her dada’s features 100% , depends if she’s light morena or actually with fair Norwegian skin . She’s beautiful already at 3 weeks , imagine in a year and each year her beauty reveals a new look and features coming from both parents . She’ll learn her dad and mom’s languages , English , and other languages as for sure she’ll become an amazing traveller like her parents . She might take an early swimming lessons before turning 1 yr old and onward , it’s easy and fastest to learn that way, starting as a baby to toddler and school age, then biking and a guitar lesson so someone will strum while they’re camping and on the road trip to the beach or mountain . So much fun future awaits you baby Amelia , I really liked that name and suits her beauty . 🎉🎉

Martin, I am a Prof of Business Administration and Management in one of the Colleges and Uni here in the Philippines. I watched all your vlogs from joining and meeting Ave in a group tour to your proposal and until now. I usually comment: "When it's Martin, it must be good and great!" remember me? Relative to your Marketing studies, I suggest, you should start from the basics in Mgt, i.e. read the books of PRINCIPLES OF MANAGEMENT and PRINCIPLES OF MARKETING. Try Structured Learning Experiences which means, doing the 4As (Activity, Abstraction, Analyais and Application). By then, you can explore deeper with your research studies.

Hi Martin! I can totally relate about Tokyo not wanting to sleep on her back. My baby used to be like that. It's never easy, I know, because it means momma or papa won't be sleeping on their backs as well. But trust me, it will pass. My 2 Girls are both in Marketing, one graduated from College and one only finished high school and both are successful Creative Directors. It is all about Networking, connections and hard work! My Daughter in Orlando worked for a big Supermarket as her first job then got a great opportunity working at Universal for Harry Potter but on her second child it was impossible to work full time but everything worked out as now that she turned 40’s she landed a NY Marketing Ad Agency as Creative Director and my Second started working in NY in a Celebrity Thrift Shop, where Sex and the City sometimes buy their wardrobe, got connected to some Designers and worked in Paris and NY Fashion shows, moved to LA and had gigs with Coachella, Celebrity’s Huge events, launching of Uggs, Harley Davidson to name a few. So Education is not all that it is, you should have the passion and talent which you have so keep on going and I know you will be very successful. Stay positive always and manifest your dreams.

Been followimg you and ave for sometime now iand i must say this has been one of my fave episodes from you because its a unique pov. Something we hardly see nowadays, an honest and reflective transitioning into fstherhood from a first time Dad and we hardly see the adjustments and the transition dad's go through having to give up so much of the old life, it helps us to understand the male side of the story in keeping a family, the adjustments from living solo to living for three, travelling to being settled im, thr choices we make, committing to growth, self care, the little challenges,and the everything in betwern. Hi, Martin and Ave. I know u guys are tired of hearing unsolicited advice 😅 I’m 7 mos PP and I wish someone told me this. When preparing milk for the baby it is best to just swirl the bottle gently to prevent air bubbles. Air bubbles causes baby to be gassy 😊

Unfortunately, they are just renting the house. Landlord might not approve any permanent construction in the property as part of their tenancy agreement. Best if they start to buy their own house even if it’s just smaller than this house.

They are renting house first because they are not sure where to settle for life...I think Martin is much comfortable to live in Norway or to have own house in the Philippines near the beach. But they are still much interested in travelling while they are still young ...still more countries for them to visit in the coming years. Thank you and stay safe all.

Hey Martin I know how it is to have a newborn & managing expenses but if you ask Lola the cheesecloth or they call it "katsa" in bikol is a better option to sift your freshly ground coffee because the tissue is bleached & you don't want that chemical in your body. Just a health tidbit. Y'all are an awesome team helping each other out so each is not burned out & joy abounds no matter how challenging her few months are. What you will realize a newborn/ infant sleeps a lot in the first year once that year turns into one potty training & running after them & childproofing the house comes next & so on but you only have 5 critical years with her then she's off to school & it'll hit you that all your routine is altered & you suddenly find "more time" in relative terms for you. Also I didn't realize this with my first that the baby's brain rapidly develops in the first five years of life so nutrition is key & showing her affection has a lot of bearing in her adult life. It is this time where you can read to & sing to her a lot. You will be amazed what her little tiny brain can assimilate. You mentioned that she can start swimming yap in Japan they toss their newborns in the water. I'm not doing that but you can if you're brave but you know what I mean. I love catching up with y'all through your vlogs🙏❤️

That’s why it’s ideal to have two parents. One devoted to raising a child full time until they’re old enough; and one devoted to working to support the family.
