It’s kinda fun to look up the Mot records on these cars. The Nissan Primera that wrecked in the end, for example, just ran out in January and it had bad rust issues

It really depends on the class. These dont look like they have much changed, but in proper banger racing leagues and bigger events the cars are built up over a long time with proper cages and exhausts/radiators/fuel tanks
