I learned how to drive a diesel locomotive when I volunteered on a museum railroad, here in Canada. It was an EMD NW2 #7941 built for Canadian National Railways, back in the 1940's! I can still hear the sound of her starting up! Loved to have been there that day with you Martin!

Think 37s are brill, same as 142s (Pacers) and 507 and 508s (PEPs) PEP= Prototype Electro Pneumatic. In fact Merseyrail trains are class 507 and 508s, but they are going very soon, so i recommend you film them before their ultimate demise. I’ve already got hours of footage of them including 507001 and 507002.
