amazing how marty never gets stuck in boxes of notes and is able to make the music really interesting and not sound like a progression in a scale.

Fascinating that this genre continues on almost 40 years after the founding of Shrapnel Records. It's become a type of traditional music by now, not unlike bluegrass or ska or dixieland. People do different things within the tradition and push the boundaries around, but the fundamental building blocks endure decade after decade.

Insane, GORGEOUS technical metal. INSANE orient influenced guitar licks, scales, melodies...the unexpected blastbests are INSANE, ..The dynamic, always changing intersection of Rhythms, is MAD..( this is probably related with a bit of Meshuggah influence on that..).. The technical skills level here is OUT OF THIS WORLD! The guitar phrasings/scales (what they are? 😳😳😳😳 ) that Marty plays at the very end of the Track are executed at astronomical, absurd speed.
