I've met Marty and Shawn on separate occasions. To his credit, Marty never struck me as being big-headed nor arrogant. Yes, his "personal demons" are documented and he's admitted to them. From watching this video, Marty reminded me of the Rockers match when they announced their "surprise" who was Andre. This was because the other team's manager wouldn't leave ringside(off-hand, I can't remember which team).

Wrestlers are so weird with their respect rituals. I've never seen this level of nonsense outside of the military. Heard wrestlers say they have to shake everyone's hand or say hello every day or else they get offended. Then you hear of always giving your seat up to the one with most seniority and wrestler's court. Probably comes from the fact they have no legit tough creds. You don't become the top guy by being the best you get it because someone put you there.
