Marty Liquori - Track and Field - Dream Mile (1971)

Marty Liquori wins in 3:54.6 for the mile, beating Jim Ryun (King Ryun) in Philadelphia, in 1971. Liquori passes Prefontaine in the indoor mile in 1975 and wins the race. Liquori sets then American record of 13:15 in 5000m at the Dusseldorf World Cup in 1977.
