Mr. Acuff played a big part in popularizing country music and putting morals in country music.. many people did not like the way he's saying cuz they thought he was too old fashioned but he was just a mountain man that's what he knew what to do and he always kept God first

This is music...what we are fed now is not , it's about who can do the best acrobatics, they need ancers beside them ,taking attention away from noticing that they really can't sing it's all about the "show"..no one can just sit and sing any more..this was pure music..miss it ,so glad I have my LPs and this on Internet.

Love this song, does onyone know who recorded it just before Willie? He sounded more like Jim Reeves but it wasn't Jim. I'm talking about Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain. There were no guitars with that version. It was the first time I heard it back in the 60s.

While this is wonderful, it’s very sad that times like this are gone, never to return. We may be grateful they’ve been captured on film forever but the conclusion always brings a little sadness.
