Ok, I know I've messed around with this some, but this was/is an awesome lesson!!! I'm seeing overlap of the major/minor pentatonics in every position now and I ran back across this. It's a perfect example of that. Also, the connection to the extended pentatonic scale. I need to transfer these licks to them to extend possibilities, but wow, such great material and licks here. Thank you, Marty for all you do!

bought a guitar after hearing aerosmith then i heard led zeppelin and wanted to sound like them, i even took the pickup cover off the bridge pickup of my les paul so i could be like jimmy page then i heard the white stripes desecrating the blues and i loved it then i fell in love with delta blues after hearing son house after all this i ended up sounding like bb king life is strange

Parents got me my first guitar @ 14. Started on Dave Matthews and some Zeppelin. My dad took me to see Clapton when I was 15. I started to notice on my Clapton CD that he was covering a lot of artists.. Researched those artists. Been playing blues for 18 years.

I’ve heard a lot of guitarists that can sound or play a few licks that sound like most iconic guitar players. I’ve never heard anyone that sounds like BB king. It’s not complicated to play. The tone and feel is in your hands idgaf what anyone says.

Played decades ago and always a "box"player. Love seeing you extending the neck from original A min pent. scale. Looks like just up 2 frets from furthest note on appropriate string. Yes??!!!! Not forgetting the E strings and B will vary compared to A, D & G. Correct ?
