I just bought a good acoustic and now I am learning songs that really aren’t served well on electric! I need to do like you and use my looper for the rhythm back track! I have 2 years into guitar and started a “Guitar Club” in our 55+ community! Several “newbies” here! I gave my first 2 hour free lesson! Went very well! My goal is, like yours, to get my people to start and enjoy this great instrument! My new motto is; “Teach What You Know and Learn What You Don’t Know!”

I've been playing for around 45 days and after getting callused up decided to take some lessons. He & a few others keep preaching the practicality of barre chords. If you look up good barre chord practice songs, it's always stuff I'm not familiar with. Can someone please make that video with songs people know of? If there's no familiar songs using barre chords, how are they so much more practical?
