The Obi-Wan Kenobi of the bike world, struck down only to return more powerful than he could possibly imagine.

Honestly i can't think of a more beautiful situation that an ex-rider, who is unable to ride himself passing on the precise details of his techniques to the next generation. Such a great teacher in identifying all the little details and even improvising with the kicker on the spot. Teaching is in the blood, and Mr Ashton can always teach. Thank you Mr Ashton, big fan since the animal bikes days and always will be.

Love this series. Watching anybody get better is enjoyable, but there's something reassuring about realizing that these guys we all look up to still have things to learn. It somehow simultaneously brings them down from their "pedestals" and lifts them higher.

Love the part where Martyn spots Blake’s incorrect stuttered pedal stroke on the hop to back wheel and notices if he just keeps doing it but swaps to leading with his right foot instead of left, he will get the stronger footed power stroke at the end.

I’m trying to understand because in the beginning at 5:50 Ashton is saying to do a Bunnyhop but then at 7:55 he really is doing a pedal kick which is totally different technique, I understand it is a lot more effective to do a pedal kick when you don’t have a lot of speed, like in this case.
