Hey I got a "nektar" Impact LX 25 midi controller. It has mod wheel pitch bender 8 programmable knobs and 8 pads. I can't get this controller to talk to REPRO for the life of me! All I can get is mod wheel and pitch. I want to control the filter and LFO parameters from my NEKTAR knobs. Usually I right click a VST knob and it'll let me do a "learn midi"?? But not with Repro. Any ideas 😐??? +
@MarulaMusic Жыл бұрын
I dion't know the Nektar stuff at all... but Repro has a Midi Table setup page from the settings window (Little cog icon, top right) You can add and manually assign midi cc values to controlls there. It should remember these but just in case, make sure you save a default patch in your DAW once you've done all of the nescessary setup.... although, Bitwig, I just touch a knob and click assign with any controller soo....

Is there a way to use the built in fx on a bus or track? I really like the Lyrebird delay and want to use it on other synths
@MarulaMusic2 жыл бұрын
No, the closest thing I guess would be to get Colour copy from U-He

Does this open in cubase as a VST or something or does it need Native Instruments or what's the deal with UHE synths?
@MarulaMusic4 жыл бұрын
AU, VST 2 and 3, and it's NKS compatible.

It's posible to get with the repro5 that creamy sounding polyphonic pitch glide with 6 notes chords?
@gastondominguez20203 жыл бұрын
I mean something like this can be made with the vstkzbin.info/www/bejne/pWmQf4Gnn9qrjc0
@MarulaMusic3 жыл бұрын
@@gastondominguez2020 Not with Repro afaik... I don't beleive thats a feature that was available in the OG Prophet 5 which Repro is modeled after. You can easily do this in Diva though. It has two glide settings that work in polyphonic mode too.

Great info as always. When u play little bits of arps and melodys are you using natural minor? Cheers
@MarulaMusic4 жыл бұрын
Probably... Lol, I don't really think about what I'm playing. I've never been one for music theory.

How can I reduce the heavy work load it puts in my CPU? It is really unusable for me
@MarulaMusic4 жыл бұрын
You can try turning on the multicore support on the plugin... otherwise an upgrade for your computer I'm afraid. I don't find Repro too bad though on the CPU.

+1 for the multicore switch. Also, once you've finished tweaking your sound and have recorded your synth part to your DAW try to bounce/resample/freeze the Repro-5 track. It helps a lot.
