@@gnanasanthosh6538 diesel engine is absolutely bullshit and disgrace to diesel. I rented a altroz xz in kerala and it was literally crying to climb hills with 5 people even in first gear. Plus the gear shifter is extremely notchy and rough and gears often refuse to fall in place.

I belong from village and I want more ground clearance and mileage too. So I brought Baleno cng n its mileage is 35 km/kg on highway and 30 km/kg in city or village. There is no performance issues. Everything is fine. No complaints from my side.

I've been driving my DCA Altroz for the last 4 months and it's been so good. Mileage has improved a lot after 1st service. I get around 12-16kmpl in city with bumper to bumper traffic. Ground clearance is not at all a worry. I've driven on some of the worst roads with bumps more than 165mm but still the bottom didn't hit. It just depends on how well you drive. Seating is comfortable and highway rides are a bliss. I feel safe inside my car even at 120kmph speeds. I only wish the engine has 4 cylinders. My choice will always be Altroz between these 2!

Baleno ground clearance 170mm Altroz ground clearance 165mm So . 5mm difference would hardly make substantial difference on bad road. With softer shock absorbers, Baleno's chance to hit any bump is more than the vehicle which has slightly hard shock absorbers. On bad road, it would mainly depends on the angle and speed, you are crossing any bump

My ride is altroz, it loves to be pushed around corners, the steering system is a gem. When I drive baleno, it feels like a truck, the steering feels vibrating with no feel and feedback and you can't tell where the wheels are facing, have to adjust the steering left and right all the time.

@@swapnilyadav1918 bhai 8000 km k asps kiya tha dpf issue kyuki mai isko average nikalne k liye bhut hi aaram se treat krta tha but fir muje solution mila ki diesel engine ko thoda rev power k sath hi chlana chiye ... to ab mai isko starting mai 2nd gear pr 60-70 tk le jata hu jiski wjh se dpf clean ho jata hai 2nd gear pr 60-70 pr 2 bar din mai 200-300 meter tk khich lo dpf ka issue naahi aane wala hai ...... or average meri car abhi de rhi hai 24+ jbki mai isko bhut pura capacity pr bhgata hu uske baad bhi 24-25 ka average ..... khush hu bhai is car se ... aap bhi soch skte ho :) or koi question ho to puch lena .... anytime :)

TATA will never ever be able to put a 4-cylinder engine in either alrtoz or in nexon...due to its weight.....it will reduce its mileage which is aleady not reilable......Also any 3 cylinder engine will not have longevity due to high RPM operation and constant vibrations....that is the reason japnese carmakers are still relying on NA 4 cylinder engines....
