The compulsion of accessories seems to vary from dealer to dealer, I suppose. I had a really good experience with my dealership. I wasn't forced to add anything to the cost. They also happily negotiated with the insurance. My final cost comprised the ex-showroom price, road tax, MCD tax, and insurance.

That unlocking thing is a safety feature n very useful. When u are alone and unlock the car, no one from otherside can try to get in your car.

There is a setting in door opening, to open all doors with single click. Probably since he is new to the vehicle, he may not be knowing. He can go through owner's manual or ask Maruti technician to set this issue.
