Last yr I went to purchase Verna but from inside car is dark, not so roomy, back seat has space issues.....gives feel of a hatchback so I rejected it and bought ciaz as it gives true feeling of sedan. I have drove my ciaz in busy uphills of Landor market of mussurie, devvan offroads of chakrata hills, kumayun region of ranikhet, kusani but never felt any power or handling lssues. Best ground clearance in competition, best space, best ride quality, best fuel efficiency, 4 cylinder reliable engine, good service network. Most sensible purchase.

I own a Ciaz Zxi+ 2017 model and I'm pretty much satisfied with it. Everything's good except the pickup of the car, however the car runs smoothly in 120-140 on highways. Just that you have to compromise with pickup and also the build quality since all Maruti Suzuki cars are not that good in build quality. The space inside the car has to be the best compared to it's competing cars of this segment of other companies,even if the front seats are pulled back totally,there's still a good amount of leg room for back passengers. Overall a good car for a family!

Drive 1.5l petrol alpha. It's gem of an engine . You can see Autocar India's sedan comparison in which ciaz 1.5l petrol is the fastest car in 20-80kph in third gear even faster than rapid and vento and faster than verna and city in 40-100 kph in 4th gear not much behind rapid and vento

If Maruti upgrades their Ciaz with better features which are offered in newer 2020 sedans like Honda City etc, nothing will beat this car as long as they keep the pricing competitive. Perhaps they should consider introducing a new Top Model Ciaz Plus Or something with all updated features and technology and increase the price by a lac or so from the current top model. That'll sure sell like hot cakes.

Build quality is better than that of Dzire. But it cannot be compared with City in terms of build quality. City is a master class. But Ciaz is a value for money Car. If your budget is 12 lakhs then Ciaz is the best car. If your budget is around 16 then City would be best.

I own ciaz alpha AT 2019 model. Also have a polo tsi with DSG 2017. Believe me 4 speed AT in Ciaz is not that bad. There is a lot difference in highway overtakes. Ciaz is damn slow. But in city and mild traffic at speeds below 70( usually we drive in that range) I think Ciazs 4 speed AT scores more. It feels a lot better in city than DSG. DSG boxes perform well in tripple digit speeds.. build quality is never equal to polo.. but almost same as other Japanese cars or even Koreans. The bonnet of Ciaz weighs well and it's not a tin can like other Maruthi cars out there.. of course S cross also scores well here.

yes you are right i also own a 2021 ciaz alpha and a chevrolet spark LT but i feel like my car is shaking i mean the ciaz but even the chevy spark is good it does not shakes i feel like the car body is so light . Why so ?

Dont exaggerate, music quality is little better on other but not way better, way better is Mercedes's for an example. Also i don't understand this feature faad, what is needed is present. The other things are just a show off, which will not be even touched after twice or thrice(which also increases the service cost by the way) For a no nonsense practical person, this the the best VFM choice

I dont really relate to the reviews. I have owned a rapid (TDI) in the past and right now i have a Baleno(VDI), Ciaz ALPHA Petrol (2020) Honda city 2022 VX and Creta 2019 Crdi. Ciaz performs way better than Verna petrol in any aspect. It has a better engine and handles way better and makes you feel connected to the road. It feel peppy and agile (manual). The nature of this engine is really close to the Vtech, although it does not give you that punch in the higher end, the city characteristics of the car feel better than the Honda city. Not to forget the fact that the engine isnt as noisy as the Vtech. It is really fast from 20-80 and feels really similar to the Creta Crdi in that range. KZbinrs do a big disservice to the community buy not driving the car for a month at-least before reviewing it.

The car is surprisingly quick, even though on paper, power and torque is lower than many of it's counterparts. It has smoked several other cars in its competition. Just look at many of the drag races on KZbin, you'll be pleasently surprised.

My ciaz got hydrolocked even in absence of water in absolute dry conditions. I had to pay for repairs even after no water ingestion and also got engine protection cover from insurance. Still no luck. So don't buy maruti cars it's just very low quality of parts used. You never know when you'll run out of luck like me.

I have seen Ciaz in maruti showroom before purchasing 5th gen Honda City Trust me,There is way difference between Ciaz and City Quality levels,Engine, handling,built quality, safety,reliability and brand value in Honda City is way better than ciaz and best in segment.. Maruti also copied Ciaz from 4th gen city but it they tried to copy next gen ciaz from 5th gen city trust me they cant priced cheaply..and priced of new ciaz will be much high.. City is a Brand and Ciaz is a Tin Can...

Though CIAZ is a perfect package and my dream car, I have to leave it due to built quality of SUZUKI cars...Why Maruti.... Yes, CITY's base model comes in CIAZ's top model .. But just look at CITY base model...I has Cruise control, touchscreen(android auto etc) camera DRL projector headlamps, machine cut alloy.. So looking at this CIAZ Alpha is almost similar to CITY V(Base)..So CITY is a better option as it has all features of CIAZ and much better quality and touch points..
