for the intermittent engine check light issue, get yourself a OBD2 port scanner and check if there are any open codes. Try to clear any codes that shows up and it should resolve the issue.

Hi Sir, what about when you make a U turn and the steering centering ? Is this a real issue in DZire , as I have heard / read about it.

The steering has a dead centre indeed. When you make a u turn and leave the steering, it doesn't come fully to the centre. But its not a very big issue. Hopefully it should have been resolved in the face lift 2020 version.

Hello Sanket. The car is not at all sluggish. It has enough power for carrying uphill. Only thing is managing the gear ratio properly while going up. In case you are going to buy the amt version, I think there won't be any issue in hilly roads. Only caution is while going downhill you should use the manual shift rather than automatic one. As the speed will increase going downhill so in amt mode the gear will reach to 4th and 5th and you have to keep the breaks applied all the time.

Mileage depend upon your driving and your location if you are driving in Nh then in every 5 km 0.1 km will increase if you are driving in heavy traffic then your mileage will decrease in every 5 km to 0.1 and about average mileage my car mileage is 18.8 in Amt where company clams 20 to 21 in Amt and 24 in manual

I am confused between Amaze(V CVT), Dzire (ZXI facelift) and Aura (top model). Amaze interiors really look premium compared to Dzire, Dzire I liked for everything but only build quality looks to be a concern. With Aura, interior are a bit new and gave a good feel but still not sure about how this is going to do in the coming 5 years. Please help. Any suggestions?

When you buy a car, you not only see how comfortable and premium it is while driving but also see its after sales service, countrywide service network and resale value. Honda, no doubt has better performance and is premium. But Maruti has countrywide service and even small garages will have Maruti parts. And no one beat resale value of Maruti cars. The face-lift Dzire has all the missing features of the older one like hill hold control and cruze control which make it a almost perfect in its segment. As there is no news yet about the face-lift amaze, my first choice would be Maruti Dzire Face lift.

Tiago is in hatchback segment while dzire is in compact sedan. Tiago is also very good with the latest updates. Also Dzire with the updated 2020/2021 edition has added some good features. Price difference between tiago and dzire models can be 1-3 lakh. If you want a small car, Tiago is great. DZIRE is more spacious and has a more boot space.

@@pixelfamily4318 I have driven both the cars for long journeys and I find dzire to be more comfortable from driver’s perspective. Even passengers are more comfortable in long journeys in Dzire. Suspension wise yes Tiago has better one.

Which variant are you thinking of buying. But irrespective of the variant, this car has proven to be a relaible one for years. You wouldn't be wrong with any variant you choose. The basics of this car is very strong ones. Handling and maintenance are also reasonable. With nationwide Maruti after sales service, I don't think this car has any major cons given the price point.

If you are talking about amt pick up then in general amt lags a bit compared to manual, specially around gear changes. There is no issue in going uphill. Only issue is the absence of hill hold which has been addressed in the 2020 facelift. 2020 facelift also has cruze control which is a big plus. Ground clearance is a bit less compared to pre 2017 version, but then the weight of the vehicle also has reduced to compensate that. You won't face much issues in bad road, unless the road is in critically bad shape and there are big patches on the road. Suspension is on the softer side in general.

भाई कई बार हो गया है alighment मगर यह प्रॉब्लम सॉर्टउट नहीं हो रही है । स्टर्रिंग ओपन होके भी चैक किया उन्होंने alighment करते समय ।कंपनी का इस पर स्टडी की तो उन्होंने आगे के ससपेंशन सोकर मे कुछ प्रॉब्लम लगी उनको कल चेंज कर दिया । मगर यह प्रॉब्लम का सॉर्टउट नहीं हुआ ।

Both are from different segment. You need to first decide whether you want compact sedan or compact suv. Nexon is also a great package overall. And with Dzire new facelift 2020 edition it’s really became a feature packed compact sedan. You can’t go wrong with either Nexon or Dzire. Also take advice from your family members about which car they like most.

Highway mileage is 18-20 kmpl, depends on how you drive. If you drive in the speed range of 60-80 km/h with light foot on accelerator it will give good average of more than 18.

Hello Faheem... First of all wait for few days as the newer face-lift model is launched. It has more features compared to older one. Coming back to mileage I get 16-17 kmpl from my petrol zxi plus amt. My driving is almost 80 percent on highways and 20 in town. AC is on always.
