very nice review sir. I have ertiga ZDi oct 2014. till date i have driven 57k km. I am very happy with the performance. Only Battery has changed. Rest no extra maintenance cost. I dont like those huge windows in summers only because of that ac become almost ineffective, i have to put sun shades on windows to make ac effective.

umang Gala sir, stability of ertiga is very good because of its monocoque chasis. Mostly i drive on highways, at speed of 100-140kmph the car feels well planted on road.. completed 63k km.. many SUVs also coming on monocoque chasis because of its stability. I bought Diesel ZDI+ in Nov-17 and drove over 1100 Kms now and here is my review. I drove on state roads, yercaud hills and hational highways and ofcourse to office daily in city; I am not a cruiser or someone who wants to spend too much on cars; Wanted to ensure not just the driver but even rear passengers have relaxing time in the car; This way I will give it 4.5/5 --- Pros are 1. Price 2. Brand/Service 3. Flexible middle seat 4. Rear passenger comfort 5. Ground Clearance 6. Low NVH --- Lot of people say it is underpowered which I agree but its not so much. I could easily drive through Yercaud hills 1600 Mtrs elevation without any problem but with 4 people. The gear ratio is much better than Creta 1.4 diesel version and Brezza..Any questions I am happy to answer to my best... I am updating my suggestions today (8th June 2018) - wait for an year to see the facelift ertiga which is expected to be more efficient than the current one; not a wise decision to buy ertiga now unless it comes with heavy cash discounts say above 1 lakh;

Yes if have a large family. Like 4 adults and 2 children or 5 adults and 1 child, etc....Suggest go for ZDI+ because ZDI does not have I guess the touch screen, music system, key less start options, etc..My family is happy rather than just I saying it.....But remember if you are not going to have more than 4 passengers 95% of your time then I would not suggest it...that case I would suggest Ford Figo top version (not aspire)/Ford EcoSport Trend+

3rd seat is good for children or adults who are less than say 5.2 or so; in city i get 15 and on highway 17; mileage seems to be low probably because of driving conditions; it should improve over time

ARUN KUMAR .... Torque converter is the common technical term used to describe the gearboxes. It will chops the torque from engine and delivered to the wheels. And the technologies which Suzuki used for its automatic torque converter is called AMT(Automated Manual Transmission). So far Suzuki brought to India for its automatic gearbox is AMT only.

ARUN KUMAR ..... You are mistaken. I have been working in VW Middle East. Our innovative automatic torque converter system is called DSG - Dual Sequential Gearshift. Old or new, the torque converter function is same. There is lots of new technologies blended in, that's all. harko I have an ertiga it has the same automatic transmission as that of ciaz. That is it has a torque converter. The automatic transmission is much more refined than ciaz transmission.
