Sharing my personal exp with all, Maruti AMT have less clutch life. My Celerio changed clutch at 11k or 13k kms I don't remember. Now it has run 30k. Cost was only 6,600 in Maruti service station bangalore. I don't mind replacing clutch if needed again, AMT is so convenient and Maruti spares are so cheap. Great video Nakul.

The reason why amt cars clutch plate damages easily are two fold:- 1. Driving in automatic mode in stop go traffic and in inclines. The reason is engine shifts to 2nd gear and slips clutch for pulling. Solution is to shift to manual mode and use 1st gear when rpm goes less than 1200 2. Half braking and acclerating at same time. Engine will slip clutch alongwith increase revs will burn the clutch

I am also using Ignis AMT. i faced alot of problems in this AMT and finally i replaced TCM unit . It cost me around 17k rupees. Clutch spare cost is around 7k in boodmo. The said price is unbelievable.

@@sibun7113 Agree, but not always is the case. iMT vs AMT vs TC vs CVT vs DCT for eg are not incremental technologies. Twin turbo vs NA etc. ECM driven operations...as cars get complex, they act as barriers for FNGs to work on them as OEMs drive more and more proprietary techs.

I got Maruti Ritz, 115k km driven, It had issues in gear transmission , 2nd to first gear problem, hence got its gear syncroniser changed, we got its cluch and pressure plate examined, still both were ok,

That is why you should change your transmission fluid at 60-70k km.. Gear shifts will be very smooth..And your synchroniser ring will be safe. Transmission fluid change just costs 1500rs( approx)

@@bhaiadarsh yeah I agree one should change all car fluids after every 40k km means on every major service, I have done that, but all maruti cars (MFD before 2016) based on 1196 cc fiat engine had this issue due a faulty transmission syncroniser brass ring design, which they reactified with a change in design of syncroniser.

For AMT Transmission first Shift to D and move car slightly and then Shift to Reverse. Your Problem will be solved.

Never give amt in hands of person who keeps one leg on brake and one leg on acceleration... This will damage clutch in hrs... Than in kms... Kisi amt ki clutch plate phukni hoto ye karlo..😅

Hi Nakul, What were the symptoms here? I seem to be facing a juddering issue when we leave the brake and vehicle moves - It happens for 50 to 100m and then car is smooth. Has anyone come to your shop with these symptoms?

It's either your clutch or flywheel or both.

jhon zapata Do you have any mail address to write you, because I bought the clutch kit according to the chassis number for a suzuki celerio AMT but I am not sure about if it is the correct one. I wanted to send you pictures. Here in Chile nobody undertand very well the auto gear shift transmission, nobody Know how to repair it, especially with the shift control actuator, if you have an issue with it, they only replace it for a new one and it is very expensive, 1700 USD or more. Many people have had problems here with the AGS suzuki celerio. Some people say that it very common that this transmission system fails and if it havent failed, it will soon in any moment in the future.
