being a fiat urban cross owner i would like to say two things. 1) fiat cars are STRONGLY BUILT, you can feel the weight when you open the doors and shut them with a thud. unlike flimsy marutis. its presence and stability on road is just awesome. 2) service is just not good, there is always spare parts problem, you will have to wait for any spare part replacements. and very less dealership means you have very less options if your dealership is not good. so, if you want an ultimate feel of driving and really want to own a CAR then go for FIAT, but if you want piece of mind and easy life then buy that autorickshaw named maruti. choice is yours 😂😂😂

both abarth Punto and palio didn't do well coz they were ahead of their time.. and our average consumer knows jack shit about driving, they only care about mileage... People talk about maintenance... Only is you own a fiat you will realise how low maintainance it is... Abarth drives like a maniac.. it beat baleno rs on track though it is much heavier by almost 300 kg.. and you will thank fiat for that weight only if you get in an accident. Just go and open the doors of a Punto... If you are used to a Maruti..you will realise like its name, the doors are like air. Abarth Punto was the best car to launch in India given its power and pricing and build quality.. but our consumer want push button start coz its what all the sheeps want and they like paying additional 7k if it gets screwed.. both cars were amazing.. they flopped coz we don't deserve them

We was owned swift 2016 July sell it Nov 2016 worst ever car bought We Owned 5 Fiats Fiat 1100 own in 1997 we drove her 6 years sell in 2003 maruti ka dabba 800 and omni own in 2000 sell in 2003 for buying Palio Than bought Palio wow what a car awesome we owned her for 13 years Palio had runs 3.55 lakh kms still going strong We also was own wagonr in 2008 9 years 1.07 lakh kms and engine blew off caught fire We also own Fiat Grande Punto in 2012 than sell to friend to own new Punto Evo Fiat Evo 2014 black Don't think i m Fiat fan if i m Fiat fan never own maruti so Fiat Evo done 1.43 lakhs kms and still feels own new mileage on highway 26.3 kmpl we also own Fiat Linea 125 S awesome sedan ever love with her And now owns Fiat Urban Cross 1.4 140 bhp petrol no one touch us in performance ride quality we are in love and even after our family members who had maruti cars also fall in love with Fiat ride , looks and way Fiat handles

Fiat sells engine ti both Maruti and Ford the Duratorq are both sourced from Fiat. and weight in fiat cars is intentional to make car safe and its made up of thick metal sheet rather then that of maruti's. and power on paper is much different what you get in real world behind the wheel i would suggest if Motorbeam if they can do drag race betwenn stock polo punto figo and any car they wish to prove the capability of Fiat.

No Fanboy. But after owning 4 Maruti's (Omni, 800, Alto, Ritz) and 2 Fiats (Linea, Punto Evo). Sorry, can't take any more of pogoing around (esp. under full load) on half cooked suspension, poor breaking, NVH levels and uncertain handling at speeds. The rest of the toys/gizmos can go to hell for all I care. So it'll have to be an outdated choice for me. If not Fiat then VW and nothing else in that price range.

Skoda: is VW in a different guise with poorer service. Also, really good ones (Yeti, Superb) are segment(s) above. Ford: Ah. Really love them. In fact Fiesta was in close contest when I bought the linea (2014), Only lost for back seat and better interiors in Fiat. Still need to test drive the Figo sport. Though the reviews say build qauality is down. Mahindra: Nothing exciting in this range. Have driven the previous gen Scorpio and absolutely hated it. Tata: My brother's family had a narrow escape about a decade back when their Indica caught fire. So I have my reservations/fears (which may/may not be rational now) about the brand.
