I had the original Dzire DDIS and it was a rocket (in the mid-range)! It used to fly on the highway. Now,I have the new Dzire with the K12 engine which is too a gem of a motor but I miss that hydraulic steering! The hydraulic steering of the first gen and the suspension of the second gen can make a killer machine!! #fasbeamer

Agreed, bro. I still have my 2011 Dzire VDI, fully stock and after 11 years, it still flies like a rocket. The turbo and the mid-range is just insane! There's not a single car in today's market with such amazing performance combined with fabulous fuel efficiency and lowest maintenance. Truly an owner's delight! ❤️

Yes really the turbo acts awesome from 2nd gear. I have experienced it as I own 2nd gen dzire ,its really a diesel rocket🔥. The moment turbo starts acting I can't even stop or control my smile and the feeling of admire towards the car, sometimes I laugh out loud out of the joy the turbo in dzire 2nd gen gives me😂. Its not just a car ,its an unbreakable connection with my heart. My eyes are full of water at the moment I feel that at some moment in my life its gonna leave me forever🥺😭.

Faisal, @5:20 The steering is NOT hydraulic, its electric assist. One of the small reasons for greater performance from the engine, considering there is no load of turning the hydraulic pump always.

I used to own a 2010 Swift VDI and yes it shoots like a bullet in its mid range. And apart from the punch ,it was the only maruti car which had a perfect handling and body balance ,it just sticks to the road. Now i own a BALENO RS but trust me in the handling department its no were in the league of the old swift .

FYI Suzuki is the first to manufacture Multijet engine in india at Suzuki plant in Gujarat. Also Suzuki tunes Multijet engine better than fiat does. Suzuki uses their own gearbox in their cars that's why you don't get that rubbery feel on the fiat cars..
