Maruti XL6 1.5 AT Real Fuel Efficiency Test using Tank-to-tank Method | June 2023

June 2023: Team V3Cars shares the fuel efficiency report of the Maruti Suzuki XL6 AT in this video after driving it in the city and on the highway. We not only give you a detailed analysis of the fuel efficiency that the XL6 automatic offers, but also the variation in fuel efficiency in city and highway drives.
The XL6 is available with a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine. This engine is paired with either a 5-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed torque converter automatic. The powertrain produces 103PS of maximum power, and with the automatic transmission, it is claimed to deliver over 20kmpl of efficiency.

I have XL6 AT Alpha and have drove almost 5000 Kms. I have never got mileage below 14 kmpl and 18 kmpl in the city and on highways respectively. It's beyond exceptional for vehicle of this size, to say the least.

While comparing recent brezza variant u mentioned curb weight of brezza manual 1110 kg but I found in my vxi manual unladen weight 1150 kg.. Then power to weight is 89 not 93 as u mentioned.. Average fuel efficiency (City + Highway) which I get with my XL6 Automatic TC is 15-16 and is almost the same as it shows on the display.. except the power lag felt during overtaking, it's a great car..

nice attempt but who usually drives XL6 with just 2 people in car! you should have tested it with 4 big/medium sized adults along with 2 small/medium sized adults (along with some reasonable luggage for highway tests) ie at its maximum capacity

That every time we've tested a car's fuel economy, it's been with 2 people on board. So, for example, if you want to compare the XL6 AT's fuel efficiency and Carens ACMT's (we've tested Carens as well), then there's this one thing that doesn't vary -- people on board. There are many variables though, but this (no. of people on board) is an easy factor that can be controlled.

Refuel karke 100kms drive karke phir se refuel karenge toh tank to tank fuel efficiency kaise hoga.Tank to tank ka matlab hain full tank karwake jab tak tank Khali nahi hota gadi chalate raho.

Don't go by this video f.e bcos they would have avoided crowded roads, even I got fooled by such videos and purchased petrol aspire which too gives only 10 kmpl
