Dear sir, thank you for the video. Very useful indeed. One basic doubt. Management quota is there only in private colleges right sir? Not in deemed universities & govt colleges. Am I right?

As I said, the term "management quota" itself is misleading nowadays. 1. In TN government medical colleges, we don't have any management quota. However, few government medical colleges in AP offer management quota. 2. In TN private medical colleges and private universities, we have govt quota, management quota, minority quota and NRI quota. 3. In TN deemed universities, there are only two category of seats; deemed/ paid seats quota and NRI quota. There are no government quota seats here. However, few deemed universities in Karnataka offer government quota seats only to KA residents.

Unlikely to get government quota. You will get a seat under Telugu minority. The fees will be around 16.5-19.5 lacs per year (including hostel). The exact fees will differ from college to college.

Yes, I know. It's a little bit tricky. This advance booking does not guarantee a seat, but colleges try to lock the students by taking an advance amount. So, they are forced to put the same college as No. 1 choice during choice filling. In return, I understand the colleges are offering a small discount on the fees.

You can get the management seat or NRI lapsed seat in Tamil Nadu private colleges or private universities. You are not eligible for the governent seat.

There is no donation as such. The official fees is 13.9 lacs for management quota in TN. However, most of the colleges charge higher than this. The extra amount could vary anywhere from 50,000 to 3.5 lacs. No additional donation or capitation is collected.

You can get a Telugu minority certificate from the School Principal. If you have the certificate, you will get a Telugu minority seat for sure.
