Possibly, but they secrete acid from their skin when squeezed. Remember in Alien? It melted thru Kanes space helmet. So itd have to be specially designed as a base material to counter the molecular acid.

This thing kinda blows me away. And perhaps not in the way all of you may think. I can't remember if I saw Alien or not at the movie house when it came out, but I definitely remember seeing Aliens at the movie house: the audience cheered when the xenomorph chomped down on Burke (Paul Reiser). I was listening and heard "They juat destroyed the Ishimura," and I'm like "Shit, that's from Dead Space!" Great great game and rightly a classic. Then I look at the complete KZbin title of this that was something like "The Complete Cycle of Paul Kennedy" - (I'm on a cell phone and can't look back at the title) - and I'm like "Holy Crap - this Alien franchise has just spawned so much stuff - it's wild." And I saw the start of it all. Good job putting this together. Great stuff! 👍

So happy when I saw this is a new video. I literally went through all of these audio read comics, and still want more. Thanks for the amazing work. This was a blast. Nice job producing the audio. However, the stories featured here was hit and miss IMHO. Huge Alien fan though. Last comic i read that I liked from Aliens was Dead Orbit. Back in 2017. Hope you guys can do that one in the furture. Amazing art and very good horror capturing the tone of the first movie. Very simple story, but the book is amazing at capturing the Alien horror feel from the first movie in comicbook form.

Some of it yes, most of it after Ripleys run. In the last 2 chapters we even see Weyland Yutani on the outs and the U.A. (United Americas) taking over. It gets a little confusing w this edit, cuz I did them chronologically according to story time line and not actual comic release order. Hope this was helpful.

That would've been a nice throwback, but this takes place around the same time as Aliens, so def more advanced on the suits. Plus the Nostromo's suits were basically construction/worker types, and were prob old for then too. From what we know, at least 57 years had passed since Alien. But, still would've been nice to see it.

They're both pretty lame, and both have the annoying habit of reusing catchphrases from Aliens, and further riding the originals by connecting "relatives" of the movie characters. Fan fiction level story telling. Dark Horse did have a few gems though, I'd say the alternative vision for Ripley and company had some high points.

Amazing work by you and the team. These were some good stories overall, but I really didn't like the Spinner story as it showed a total lack of understanding of how the Xenomorphs behave. Them just slaughtering so many unarmed people instead of capturing them to be used as hosts was just bad writing.

This is why I prefer The Dead Dude to the Russian, the Dude chooses more obscure titles which I find more interesting, exciting. The Russian does incredible work but on mostly mainstream titles which isn’t as appealing IMO

We can have the old AND the new. Its not like the books erased out of existence the second Marvel made some. They actually re-released the old Omnibus. Im just not that big on 80s comics. They got weird. Not good weird. Lol. The later Dark Horse gn were fantastic tho, and will be covered on the channel, eventually. This is my bread and butter for now tho.
