That is my favorite issue straight up. It's one of the best comic scenes I've seen in a long time. But I don't get why we're talking about Mr.Knight as a separate entity though. In the comics Mr.Knight was just a legally distinct seperation from his moon knight persona in order to do his job without obstruction. It's all Spector. Mr.Knight in the show is Steven's mental projection for the suit. Spector=Moonknight, Steven=Mr.Knight. it's why he was talking to Marc in the reflection, it's why Marc called him Steven. For the show so far the suit goes by Shizam rules. It's his "super form".

Jake has his own costume they use for exactly one issue and it's explicitly stated that it's him in control of the body. He changes back to Marc's costume when he's done brutalizing the guy he went in after.

I'd say the biggest difference they've made, is that Moon Knight and Mr Knight aren't actually Seperate Personalities, and are more like Alter Ego's. Moon Knight being just Marc's Alter Ego. Mr Knight being just Steven's Alter Ego. We can see that more clearly in Episode 3. (SPOILERS) When Marc puts on his Ceremonial Armour, he is still himself; it isn't a Seperate Personality that takes over for that time. And when Steven tries to take control from Marc, the Suit also automatically changes into Mr Knight. Even later, at the end, we can see that, when Khonshu needs Steven's help - he forces a Suit out onto him, with Steven still being himself. Which makes me wonder how Jake Lockley will work. Maybe he will end up being a more Brutal Side of Mr Knight. That would give us Steven as the Detective; and Jake as the Agressive Mr Knight. Clarification: In the Comics, Moon Knight and Mr Knight were both Seperate Personalities of Marc.

TL;DR - Here is how I think the Moon Knight timeline goes. (ep 1,2,3 and will update when new ep come out) I texted this during my break time at work so there may be some spelling mistakes. Sorry its to long lel, watch some of NewRockstars videos on Moon Knight Edit Pt4 - This is how I believe the timeline of the show is. Marc dieds while on a mission, and is revived by Khonshu in order to be his avatar. Marc leaves layla to either protect her or to stop her from being the next avatar. We see Steven go on his daily routine, reading books, solving puzzles, keeping his mind busy. We see he is doing this because he is an insomniac and believes he is sleep walking as sometimes wakes up in random places. Marc is able to separate Steven life’s from his, but some event has caused this to mess up. Steven finds out about this and has to escape from being killed from Harrow and his goon squad. He is able to escape and wakes up on the bus, and confirms this is real as he sees Harrow on the bus with him. He goes onto his work and is cornered by Harrow, using his staff he tries to judge Steven but is unsuccessful due to the different personality’s inside Steven’s mind. As he begins to end his shift, Steven hears a whimper and calls out for the animal to come out. He finds it to actually be an Egyptian jackal and runs in terror away from it. He is trapped in a bathroom and has to let Marc take over and transform into Moon Knight. Steven wakes up and goes back to work, and is fired but not charged with anything. He decides to go a storage facility using a key he found hidden in his apartment, he also discovers a phone in which he finds out Layla. He goes in it and discovers bags and boxes, one of them having a gun and a compass that points to the god Ammit in it. Marc talks to Steven and tries to convince him to let him take control of the body, using the reflections of walls to do so. (Steven looks at the gun, maybe showing him thinking about having to kill himself in order to get the voices outside of his head, just my opinion) He tells Marc that he’ll bring the duffle bag to the police and turn himself in so he won’t hurt anymore people. As he leaves, he see Khonshu, terrifying Steven. As he runs out of the building, he trips and falls near Layla. After a bit of fighting, where it is revealed that Layla is actually Marc’s wife, they head over to Steven’s apartment. We learn Marc has abandoned Layla for a while, and were about to get a divorce. Layla still thinks that Marc is playing some sort of act. Two police offers knock on the door and find the duffle bag full of illegal stuff and arrest him, they are actually working for Harrow. Harrow and Steven talk for a bit, in which Harrow says he is trying to free his god Ammit, to rid the world of evil by stoping it before an evil act has been committed. After arguing that you would have to kill innocent children if you follow Ammit’s idea of justice, Layla arrives and shows the compass to Harrow, leading to a full on brawl between her, Steven vs the goons. Harrow unleashes a Jackal, which should be easy for Marc to take care of, but Steven has a full blown mental break down. He is attacked and falls out the window, but he is able to unleash the “suit.” While it isn’t the right one, being a nice clean white suit with glowing eyes, Steven is able to start fighting back. After realizing bystanders may be hurt/killed in the scuffle, he allows Marc to take over and transform into the real suit. He puts the Jackal down but finds the compass to Ammit gone, failing out of his pocket. Harrow is able to find it. He and along a large group of goons arrive at Egypt and find Ammits tomb. Marc is chasing a group of Harrow’s men and starts beating them up, but is stop when Steven takes control of the body. Marc wakes up in a taxi headed towards an airport, when he sees the goons and starts chasing them. (Steven some how convinced the goons to stop fighting, and had tried escaping by going towards an airport) He is able to start beating them when Steven interrupts him, causing him to get distracted, and is knocked out by the goons. When Marc wakes up again, he finds himself brutally killing the goons, with only one of the goons still alive. (Only a teen) Khonshu tells him to bring him to a cliff in order to get info, but instead the kid commits suicide. Marc gets mad at Steven and tells him why did he do this, where Steven tells him that he doesn’t know and that it wasn’t him. This is a definite nod to the character Jake Lockley, another persona of Marc. This new personality seems to have come out when Marc was knocked out, as Marc/Steven do not know who was the one who took control. (Or maybe Jake comes out when Marc/Steven get overwhelmed with anger/sadness) Getting desperate, Khonshu starts an eclipse in order to get the attention of the rest of the Egyptian gods. Khonshu explains to Marc that he’ll have to prove that Harrow is trying resurrect Ammit. Using Steven’s multiple personality’s against him, he is able to convince the other gods of his innocence and is let go. The gods tell Marc/Khonshu that if he ever changes the sky like what he did again, they will imprisoned in stone. However perhaps one of Khonshu’s only friends, the goddess of love (?) tells Marc another way to find Ammit, using a coffin thingy map. Marc goes around asking around when Layla meets up with him. Layla and Marc head over to a rich man named Anton Mograt (R.I.P Gaspard Ulliel) and ask him if they could look at the coffin. As Marc doesn’t know a whole lot of the language written on it, he lets Steven to take control due to is smartness in this field. After putting all the pieces together, it tuns out that the coffin had a small star shaped map, which shows an alignment of stars. However, the stars were in that positions thousands of years ago, meaning Khonshu would have to turn the sky in order to get the stars in the same position, with the help if Steven in his Mr, Knight suit. The Egyptian gods follow their promise and trap Khonshu in stone, presumably making Marc/Steven not being able to get inside their suit. However, Khonushu was able to turn the sky thousands of years back before getting incase in stone. Due to the stress and work he just did, Steven passes out. This is where the third episode ends. I personally think ep 3 and half of ep 4 will follow Jake. ok, holy shit i dont know where to start. After Steven passes out, Layla has to pull Steven from being shot at by Harrow’s goons. Layla and Steven roll down a cliff and are able to take out the goons. They go where the coordinates they found in ep 3 and find the location of Ammit’s tomb. Steven makes some moves on Layla and have this cute/awaked kiss on Layla, before Marc taking control and punching Steven in the head. They go down into the cave and discover it is almost like a maze. They have to hid after some mummy troll thingy comes in and starts to take out the organs of one of Harrow’s men. They get separated and Layla comes across Harrow, telling her that Marc was at the place where her father died. Steven finds a tomb. It is revealed that the tomb is Alexander The Great, meaning that he is the avatar of Ammit. Layla confronts Marc about her father but are interrupted by Harrow and his goons. Marc makes quick work of the men but his shot two times by Harrow and his thrown into a pool near the tomb. Marc wakes up drugged and bounded to a wheelchair in a mental hospital. He is able to fight the drugs off and escapes from the workers and hides in a room. Marc finds a tomb which Steven was trapped in and now are both are able to physically touch each other. Both go down the hallway and find another tomb but don’t open it. This might be the last and biggest hint towards Jake. The door ahed of them open and the goddess Taweret comes out. She will be in ep 5 and 6. Ep 4 is currently the last ep, and we’ll have to wait til next Wednesday for more.
