The message and the fact people just don't want comicbook crap anymore. The fatigue is real. At this point comicbook characters and the message are synonymous. The kids that grew up with these movies have aged out, my son and his friends don't care for comicbook stuff and they all tell me that it's lame and no one likes it. He's 13. Actual comicbook fans should be rejoicing that the general public has moved on. Having them lose their popularity is a win fall. Now the original medium, the books, can get back to what made them so good for the real fans instead of watered down for mass audiences. You guys should all be hoping the fatigue is real. I don't understand why you want your hobby to be mainstream. Once things become mainstream the product suffers. It becomes watered down.

Yeah, I'm with you on all points (fellow African American comic reader). I didn't want them to go the Falcon into Cap route (even failed in the comics). Disney/Marvel is in a weird, messed up rebellious phase. I wish that they would just wipe away all slated movies and come out strong with the Mutant Saga!

I so like people that keep pointing out this version of Captain America is in the comics. Yes, that is true. He is even worse in the comics. He was cool as Falcon-now he is a racist and uninteresting. His comic sales are slow and recent issue had him have a 'blacks-only' BBQ party. But at least 3 complete reshoots and the use of the 'fantasy metal' from Wakanda to explain his ability to take on a Hulk without super-soldier serum. Almost a half a billion on this-put that into movie terms. You could of made at least 4 movies with sizeable budgets with that.

Captain America should have his title given to Winter Soldier his CLOSE friend since World War. Plus they are nearly at similar power lvl along with skills. Having guns and vibranium armor along with him would have made it epic.

That movie poster for China looks awful! They tried to obscure Mackie's face as much as possible, otherwise they would have used America's movie poster showing him front and center. The problem is no one will like it here in China because the Falcon is NOT Captain America, Steve Rogers is Captain America, no one wants to see the Falcon act like Captain America. I think Bucky should have been the next Captain America, he's also a super soldier, worked with Steve, and it'd give him the opportunity to right his past wrongs. Unfortunately he's white, so Marvel still thinking this is the age of DEI are patting themselves on the back with this and with the future atrocious Ironheart.
